Online Portal Access With DLS Financials

The DLS Online Web Portal of DLS is designed to lower the cost of providing information about the account balances and transactions to the locations. By providing a users ID and password for each person that needs to see the data, you can control what they see and do on DLS Online.

Some users may need to access more than one location's records like the parish, cemetery, and school accounts for the main accountant. But individual locations may only need to see the accounts for their location like scholarship accounts for schools, perpetual accounts for cemeteries, and general funds for the parish

Some users may have the right to apply for funds to be given out, export data, or view certain items. You shouldn't have just one login for each location for everyone to share. When someone leaves the location's employment, you only need to delete their record or lock them out while the others can continue to log in.

The web portal can also be customized to present your diocese's shield or logo on the login form and menus. For people that have rights to more than one location, they will be given the ability to view just one location at a time so that they don't mix up information on their desktop. Accounts for the locations are listed out with the LU Number and description as well as the balance of each account and the overall balance for all of the accounts in that type (see image on the right). They can also view the history of accounts that have been marked as closed.

Other features available is the function to calculate out what a balance will be on an account for a certain date in the future, reports like transaction and statements, and the exporting of the transaction data into an Excel spreadsheet.

As more locations are using DLS Online, more features are being requested just like with DLS itself. Current updates are being programmed to allow users to request funds, transfers, and other requests right online and having that request sent to the main DLS program at the diocese. Because DLS Financials is all custom made to your specifications, you will always get what you need when you need it.
